Stability in active distribution networks that integrate energy communities
|
Subproject of the University Polythecnic of Catalonia (SPUPC) supported by Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, Agencia Estatal de Investigación, FEDER, UE (MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033/ FEDER, UE)
Call for Knowledge Generation Projects (2024). Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
Duration: 3 years (2025-2028)
Objective of the Subproject
The main objective of this subproject is to study study stability in active distribution networks (ADNs) that integrate energy communities (ECs). The specific objectives are:1. Development of new models of ADN and EC components for efficient stability analysis of ADNs with ECs.
2. Application and extension of known tools to analyze steady state, and dynamic instabilities in ADNs with ECs, while developing new tools to improve stability studies.
3. Study the main EC components affecting ADN stability to predict instabilities and propose solutions that eliminate or mitigate their effects.
