Development of tools planning and collaborative investment for smart grids (PlaPro)(Ref. DGP_PIDI_2024_02368) |
Subproject of the University of Seville (SPUS) supported in part by the Consejería de Universidades, Investigación e Innovación de la Junta de Andalucía, Spain
2024 Call for Competitive Grants to fund applied research and experimental development projects by agents of the Andalusian Knowledge System, under Line 2 of the Order of April 23, 2024. Consejería de Universidades, Investigación e Innovación de la Junta de Andalucía, Spain
Duration: 3 years (2026-2029)
Objective of the Subproject
The main objective of this subproject is the development of a collaborative investment tool that assists in the optimal design of the network using multi-objective criteria, with the development of incentive mechanisms for each type of consumer being fundamental. The specific objectives are:1) Identification and selection of multi-objective criteria: Identify and select key criteria for evaluating microgrid-energy community (MG-EC), such as cost, energy efficiency, sustainability, resilience, and social acceptance, defining metrics and parameters for each selected criterion.
2) Development of a multi-objective decision model that enables a collaborative investment mechanism that takes into account how an asset can benefit various participants, an incentive model for demand management and distributed generation, and a model for distributing the profits obtained, using multi-criteria analysis techniques (AHP, ANP, TOPSIS, PROMETHEE, Game Theory, etc.) in the decision model.
3) Sensitivity and robustness analysis: Perform a sensitivity analysis to understand how input parameters affect results (profit distribution, etc.).
4) Develop simulation modules to predict the performance of different MG-EC configurations under various scenarios based on real data on energy consumption, renewable generation, costs, and other relevant parameters in the model.
